Angela Dee Johnson, 48, of Cheyenne, Wyoming went home to her heavenly father on December 30, 2021 after a battle with Covid19. She was born to Ava and Gary Rice on August 23, 1973 in Paola, Kansas.
Angela loved everyone with all of herself, no matter what. Everyone she met knew that she loved them. She was a very talented artist who had recently rekindled her love of painting as a career, after many years as a childcare provider. She was a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved growing flowers and taking care of her family. She loved all children, especially her own.
Angela is survived by her adoring spouse of 3 years, Davie Johnson; her loving children, Brenten Clopton, Breahna Clopton of Cheyenne, and Bethanie Clopton, a student at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois; her father, Gary Rice and wife Barbara of Overland Park, Kansas; her mother in law, Brenda Hilliard of Baldwyn, Mississippi; two sisters, Brynda Rice and Melissa Koele; brother in law, Derrick Johnson and wife Camilla; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many other extended family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her mother and her grandparents, Alvin and Elsie Smith, and Marlin and Bonnie Rice, and an uncle, Skip Clift.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday, January 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with her interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
