Andrew John Gorman

April 8, 1996 — March 7, 2023

Andrew John Gorman, 26, of Cheyenne, died on March 7, 2023, in Cheyenne.
He was born on April 8, 1996, in Cheyenne.
Andrew graduated from Central High School in 2014 and continued his education at the University of Wyoming, graduating with Bachelor’s in Economics, Accounting, and Finance. Following his passion for accounting and finance, he was working towards his Masters in Accounting and only had two classes before completing his degree. He was most recently employed with the State of Wyoming Public Services Commission as a Technical Analyst.
Growing up, Andrew enjoyed playing sports and was a part of many local school and recreational sports teams – some of his favorite being wrestling, baseball, hockey and soccer.
He liked playing Xbox with friends and couldn’t wait for the next new game to come out. Andrew was an avid Rick and Morty, Letterkenny, M*A*S*H, The Office, and any British comedy fan. His other pastimes included trading stocks and collecting coins and silver. He loved going to the beach on vacation and snorkeled as much as he could when he was there.
Andrew will be remembered by his family and friends for his witty, dry sense of humor and that he was always “Andrew” - never “Andy” – except to his dad who affectionately referred to him as “Andy Man.” He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon and Roxanne Gorman of Cheyenne, his sister Kelsey Gorman of Keller, TX, maternal grandparents Arnold and Judy Zakrzewski of Sioux Falls, SD, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Colorado and Sioux Falls, SD.
Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gregory and Patricia Gorman.
Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, March 13th at 3:00 p.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne. Reception to follow in Hartman Hall.
