Our son Amar’e Maiden’s short life was unexpectedly ended on Thursday April 20, 2023. He was born May 31, 2007, to Tronald Maiden and Rachel Crozier in Aurora, Colorado.
Amar’e will be remembered by his contagious laugh and his smile that lit up every room he walked into. He had a very kind and beautiful soul.
Amar’e was a sophomore at South High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He liked to listen to music, crack jokes, and hang out with family and friends. He also enjoyed his video games.
He is survived by his mother, Rachel Crozier; stepfather, Derrik Geisler; father, Tronald Maiden, of Nebraska; grandparents, Kathy and Fred Serrano, David Tutson, Mississippi, Jozette Maiden-Thomas and James Thomas of Mississippi; Aunts, Sara Crozier, Jasmine Edmondson of Texas, Kimeyatta Clark of Mississippi, and countless cousins and other relatives.
Amar’e was proceeded in death by his grandfather, Tab Crozier and great-grandfather, Emerson Maiden of Mississippi.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A reception will immediately follow the service at The Gathering Place.
