Alva Drummond, of Cheyenne and Rawlins, died on September 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Al was born on June 2, 1957 in Rawlins, Wyoming to Mildred and Robert Drummond, the oldest of three children.
Al worked for his family's Independent Bread Service for Wonder Bread, until finding his true desire as a Correctional Officer/Recreation Specialist with the Wyoming State Penitentiary. After 30 years of service he retired to enjoy his true passions of hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deana; his children, Brandon (Lisa) of Cheyenne, Janaya of Cheyenne, Bryan (Elena) of Colorado; brothers, Robert of Cheyenne and Danny of Rawlins; grandchildren, Alyssa, Makayla, Alivia, Beau, and Teagan; four aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous; aunts and uncles; and nephews, Cody and Kailyn.
Services will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with a reception to immediately follow the services at the Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park.
