Allen Arnold Wulf

On February 4, 2025, Allen Arnold Wulf left this earth to be reunited with those he loved that past before him. He fought hard to stay with us but in the end his doctors did not have any solutions. We lost a kind, witty, knowledgeable, strong, and caring man, who will be missed greatly. He was the world’s best dad, proud grandpa, beloved brother, cousin, uncle, and dear friend.

Allen was born in 1948 to Arnold and May (Rohweder) Wulf. He grew up in Pine Bluffs where he made mischief and life-long friends. He graduated from Pine Bluffs High School in 1967 and then went on to try out UW before becoming an iron worker, traveling where the work took him making cherished friendships along the way. Allen switched careers so that he could stay in Cheyenne to raise his children; he became the door shop manager at Powers, where he worked until he retired.

Allen had many aliases: Al, Arnie, Wulfie, Wulf-Man, and Wulf #2, but his favorite was given to him by his grandchildren, Papa Wulf. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, farming, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, working on anything with a motor, taking care of his trees, live music, playing cards, and visiting with friends and family.

Allen believed in taking pride in your work and working hard. He was tough but fair and always treated people with respect. He would look you in the eye and mean what he said. No matter the situation, he usually had a witty one-liner to match. He told the best stories and tied the best knots. He was always there to offer love and support - he will be greatly missed.

Celebration of life to be held at The Elks (100 E 17th St, Cheyenne, WY) April 13, 2025, at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Lions Club or the National Parks, give someone a helping hand, or just go fishing.
