Aliceann Russell

Aliceann Warren Russell, 68, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away in her home on February 20, 2022. Aliceann was born in Keokuk, Iowa, on January 16, 1954, to Reda and Delmar Warren. She attended Green River High School and South Puget Sound Community College.
Aliceann worked as an Office Administrator and enjoyed being an Editor and writer for the Snake River Press and Uinta County Herald in Evanston, WY. Aliceann was a proud member of the Episcopal Church and the Church of Scientology. She was a worldly creative who loved photography, music, cross-stitch, and tailoring.
Aliceann is survived by her children Arron Simmons and his wife Punitha Orrick, Eric Simmons, and Christian Laskowski and his partner Beryl Durazo, Margaux and Jimmy Russell and her mother Reda Warren and brothers Bruce and Curtis Warren. In addition, her grandchildren Kyle Apply, Bailey Brown, Rylan Simmons, Briahna Lynn Simmons, Miya Simmons, Hayden Simmons, Arie Stepp, Jason Orick, Chase Smith, Brihanna Lee Smith, Gary Daniels, Victoria Daniels, Liam Pierce-Daniels, and Melissa Russell. She was predeceased by her father Delmar Warren and son Steven Simmons.
The family wishes to thank her caregiver and dear friend Debbie Matless and Lillie White. Aliceann truly appreciated the support of Dr. Elaine Lam at the CU Specialty Care at Highlands Ranch Cancer Center Care at Anschutz. With special appreciation to Nurses Maria, Amy, Kristi, and Jean at the Davis Hospice Center, who assisted Aliceann on her journey.
Memorial services will be held at Living Hope Church in Green River, WY (295 Monroe Ave, Green River, WY 82935) on March 26, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cowboys Against Cancer (1893 Dewar Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901) and the Davis Hospice (6000 Sycamore Rd. Cheyenne, WY 82009).
