Alice Dwinell Ward, 88, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2022 in Sacramento, California.
Alice was born October 4, 1933 in Laramie, Wyoming to Frank and Eithol Dwinell. Alice spent her early years on the family ranch in North Park Colorado. The family later moved to Carpenter, Wyoming where she attended school, graduating in 1951. She attended the University of Wyoming where she met and married her husband, Larry Ward. She and Larry were married February 15, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After a short time there they moved to Sacramento, California where she remained until the time of her death.
Alice is survived by two sisters, Fanny Malm and Margaret (Earl) Montgomery, one
stepson, Larry Clay (Kay) Ward, three step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved Sophie dog and two kitties. She was predeceased by her parents, one brother and one stepson.
Alice will be remembered for her love of dogs and cats. Those wishing to make a donation should do so to their local animal shelter in her memory. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
