Alan Schultz, 73, of Cheyenne, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 24, 1944 in Ponca, Nebraska, first born son to Archie and Elaine Schultz. Alan was very fond of his hometown. He and his best friend have remained close since high school football, and were known as the touchdown twins. He was loved for his sense of humor, and quick wit.
Alan worked for the State of Wyoming as a District Manager for 35 years, in Vocational Rehabilitation and Workman’s Safety and Comp. He and his wife Mary Jane belonged to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Alan, a member of the Moose Lodge, served on board of director for the CRMC gym; he enjoyed fishing, visiting family, loved his Football Team Nebraska Cornhuskers, and loved and lived for his dogs. His dogs were constant companions.
Survivors include his wife Mary Jane Schultz; 2 brothers, Jim and Craig Schultz; and a sister, Rhonda Reuter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services will be Wednesday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
