Aaron Louis Culver, 83 graduated to heaven on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Cheyenne Healthcare Center. Aaron was born on August 16th, 1934 in Ogden Utah to Lafe Elmer Culver and Cathryn Rose (Farrell) Culver. His parents lived in Rock Springs, WY and the closest hospital was in Ogden. They later moved to Lusk, WY where he graduated from high school.
Aaron married Faye Arlene Cowell on August 27, 1954 and they had 3 children, Phillip Eric, Sharon Faye and Curtis Elliott.
Aaron attended Platte Valley Bible College in Scottsbluff, NE and then moved on to Midwestern School of Evangelism in Ottumwa, IA where he graduated in May of 1958. He and fellow graduates moved to the New England area to start churches. Starting in Maine he later moved his family to Vermont and worked with the young churches. He was a part of starting a Bible College in Rutland, VT where he taught young men to preach and lead singing among other things. In the fall of 1973 he returned his family to Cheyenne, WY where he preached in a new church. He was a member of North Christian Church for over 40 years and served as an elder.
During his lifetime he provided for his family by teaching school (in a 2 room schoolhouse he taught 6th thru 8th grades) in Halifax, VT, painting houses, repairing and selling used cars, selling and installing CB radios and car stereos.
He is survived by one brother, Tom Culver of Torrington, WY, his children Phillip (Myrna) Culver of Addison, VT, Sharon (Bob) Cole of Rapid City, SD, Curtis (Joni) Culver of Wheatland, WY and grandchildren Tanya Lauderdale, JoniKay Franklin, Chara Martin, Stephanie Clayton, Shayla Culver, Lisa Huot, Brian Cole, Weston Cole, Trent Cole, Michelle Tennant, Rachel Pearson, Nicole Culver and 14 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Faye, 5 siblings and grandson Mark Culver.
A Life Commemoration Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at North Christian Church in Cheyenne.
Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
