Tresa Hagen

April 10, 1920 — August 24, 2024

Tresa (Tagliavore) Hagen, 104, of Cheyenne, passed away at Aspen Wind Assisted Living Facility on Saturday, August 24, 2024; surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 10, 1920, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Louis and Angelina Tagliavore.
Tresa supported the war effort during WWII as a logistics manager. Along with her late husband George Hagen, she worked 45 years with Cheyenne Newspapers, starting in the Circulation Department and then retiring as a supervisor in the Sales and Service Department. (Their combined services were over 70 years!)
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, loved family gatherings and was a wonderful cook and hostess. In her later years she enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts.
Tresa is survived by her children, Patti Waddell, Bill Lewis, Diane (Ben) Martinez; grandchildren, Christy Stewart, Jeff Waddell, Rie (Ashley) Waddell, Courtney Lewis, Matthew (Nicole) Lewis, Chad (Jena) Martinez, Todd (Linda) Martinez, Zach (Dana) Martinez; 31 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She dearly loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; stepson, Keith Hagen; brothers, Jim and Andy Tagliavore; and sisters, Jenny Curran and Louise Richards.
Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday September 3, 2024, at 10:00am, in St. Mary’s Cathedral. Interment to follow the service at Olivet Cemetery. A reception will be held at Hartmann Hall, located at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to St Mary’s Catholic School.
