Pat LeRoy Goldsworth, 69, passed away in Cheyenne, Wyoming on September 9, 2024, with his loving wife at his bedside.

Pat was born in Boone, Iowa on September 30, 1954. He grew up in Boone and graduated from Boone High School in 1972. Pat had a strong work ethic and spent much of his career employed by Eastman-Kodak in Windsor, Colorado. Prior to Kodak, he was employed with Safeway and worked in stores in Iowa and Arizona. Shortly after moving from Colorado to Cheyenne, Wyoming Pat was employed by Walmart until he retired in January of 2021.

In April of 1997, Pat met his wife Sara Louise in Denver, Colorado and they were married on May 5, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Colorado until moving to Cheyenne in the latter part of 2006.

Pat is survived by his wife Sara Louise; sisters-in-law Pamela Goldsworth and Crystal (John) Falls; mother-in-law Sara Hutchens; and special cousin Lynda White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as four children and a grandson from a previous marriage.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dorothy Goldsworth of Boone, Iowa; and brother Mike Goldsworth of Boone, Iowa.

Pat loved nature and animals, and over the years he would cash in his spare change jar to donate to the animal shelter in Cheyenne. He also loved sharing new experiences and traveling with his wife Sara Louise.
