Mary Voigtsberger

July 25, 1936 — April 29, 2024

Mary (Seda) Voigtsberger, 87, of Cheyenne, passed away peacefully at Davis
Hospice on April 29, 2024. Her last hours were filled with family, friends and music. She was born on July 25th, 1936, in Manhattan, NY, the 6th child of Isidro and Rogelia Seda. She was raised in the Bronyx, NY, playing stick ball, opening fire
hydrants to cool off, and waking up the family at night to see if they were asleep.
Mary skipped two grades, graduated HS at 16, and worked at Bantam books.

She married Francis Bumgarner and had two children, Frank born in NC,
and Maria born in MA. They lived in NY, NC, MA, Newfoundland, Jersey City and
Long Island, and Cheyenne, and were divorced in 1972. She married Carl
Voigtsberger in 74, and in 78, and later divorced.

Mary worked at Tempo, Grand Central, Downtowner, and McGladrey & Pullen, CPA. She loved
family, folk music, guitars, writing poetry, camping, fishing, bowling, the beach, flowers, and photographs.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Lihammar; son, Frank Bumgarner; grandsons, Eric Lihammar, David and Nathan Bumgarner; sister, Anna, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Isidro and Rogelia Seda; brothers,
Eddie Berto, one still born, and Angelo; sisters, Sylvia, Olga, Ruthie and
Vickie, and other family members back east and in Puerto Rico.

There will be a viewing at Wiederspahn Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes on Friday, May 3rd, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Funeral at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel on Monday, May 6th at 10 am.
