Janice P. Carter, 72, of Cheyenne, passed away on November 7, 2022 in Cheyenne.
She was born on March 18, 1950 in Sebring, Florida to Kathryn and William Fowler. She moved to Green River, Wyoming in the 1970’s. Janice worked in the food service industry and it was at the Red Feather restaurant that she met the love of her live, Frank Carter. They were married on July 11, 1998. They moved to Denver when Frank took a job with Alstom at their Rocky Mountain Service Center. Janice took a job managing the cafeteria at the Rocky Mountain News Estlow printing facility. In 2007, Janice and Frank moved to Cheyenne where he took a job with Holly Frontier. Janice took a job at KFC just to keep busy until 2015 when she was diagnosed with dementia.
Janice is survived by her husband, Frank; three daughters, Kim (Dale), Shelly (Jack) and Vivian; two stepchildren, Justin (Crysta) and Kaleena (Tyler); four sisters-in-law, Debbie Horton (Sam), and Linda, Becky Carter, and Lorrie Hogan.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her father; her sister, Carol; her brother, Pat; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bertha and Frank Carter, Sr.
