Emma Lou Conner

January 13, 1940 — January 10, 2024

Emma Lou Conner, 83, of Cheyenne, WY went home to be with our Lord on January 10, 2024. Emma Lou Conner “Babe” was born in Guernsey, WY on January 13, 1940, to Leonard LeRoy Lieurance and Geraldine Edith Hauer.

Emma lived in Wyoming most of her life, with a short stint in San Francisco, CA. She was a dependable worker with a strong work ethic. She helped her brother Jim start up the first Taco Johns, she worked as the Director of Workman’s Compensation, owned New Generation Day Care, worked as a realtor for Key Real Estate, and was Deputy “Registrar for Preston University for several years.

Her hobbies included gardening, games with family, and crochet. She enjoyed talking to friends and family, crossword puzzles, watching the latest news, and reading with a glass of wine by her side. She found her greatest joy and happiness, in the happiness of others. Emma was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, sister, and Disciple of Christ. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, and we find comfort now knowing she is home at peace in God’s love.
